If he’s wise he’ll take the money and run but there’s a chance being called the Director of a football club will be worth more to him for schmoozing, hob nobbing, associating, rubbing elbows etc with daft people with too much money.

People like Stewart Donald make people like Methven rich

Or Boris

I think he's been asked / used by SD to say theres nothing going on to keep the fans feet on the ground, avoiding SunDELLand t-shirts excitement and the like.

If he's now on board with it all then hopefully it's done and we are about to hear it officially

Bob

That may have been true two years ago, but the Rochdale manager clearly stated in his programme notes last night that with this being our 3rd season in this division we are where we deserve to be, so his lads should go out without any fear and beat Sunderland. Unfortunately we aren't good enough to beat teams anymore that don't shut up shop and leave themselves open.

very true. However Crewes manager and one or two players said last week before and after playing that we're a massive club and playing us was pretty much a big deal. Depends on opposition.

Interestingly enough Bob has told a poster to "wait two weeks", which would tie in with @Wheatsheaf's timescale and what @Prehab26 said about being end of next week. He is also intimating that they will have their own man lined up. However he is confusing as **** but since its what I want to hear, I am going to believe him. All the stars are aligning I tell thee

His players obvs thought we’re a big deal, I mean he done a knee slide in an empty stadium when he scored the whopper

Pissed me off that nobody was following up as well, Lampard-style.

The number of times when the ball was half-cleared to the edge of the box. Rarely one of ours anywhere near.

to me there is one obvious choice for that player to play centre mid & make constant runs into the box, one of the few we have with the energy required, understand hes had to fill in other positions but 09 HAS to be pushed further up the pitch in a central role, find it hard to beleive he wont get goals & allow us to press high up

Parkinson has not be dealt the best cards or been backed as he should.....but hes far from helping himself by refusing to give youth a chance, if he wants to play 3 at the back, hume LWB, diamond RWB, 09 CM pushing up. that energy will prob be enough at this level if you hoy benji in for a chance, utilise Grahams experience & let others do his leg work. yes graham is not the best, but wyke is not even close to reading humes balls into the box.
