Id also say there’s a fair few within the core of our side that would fancy they’d be able to keep their place in the squad in the championship, even if not entirely realistic.

There have been sooooo many twists in this bloody tail that when the takeover is finished and this thread is let go then my laptop will be spinning around for about an hour!

Looking at that I would be inclined to agree.
 
Since there seems to some kind of ending to this never ending saga, I would also like to thank all the lads who have provided bits and pieces of info when they can. Okay so it may not be the dream package we all hoped for but from what's being said tonight, it looks like some good news won't be far off. Cheers again lads @Smug in Boots @Magnus @Prehab26 and anyone else I've missed out.

I would say all of them could be part of a championship squad (*) at this moment in time

We would go straight back down if that was the core of our team. Current squad would need big investment just to stay up
