It's easy for the same story to get twisted as it's passed on, then you can have 2 people at the same meeting telling different stories based on their perspective.

In this occasion though I think there's been deliberate misinformation pushed alongside genuine info, with no real way of unpicking it.

Storey tweeted a few weeks ago something along the lines that his offer was the best on the table and is a complete takeover with fresh ideas and a longterm plan.. not a re distribution of shares being held up by creditors.. That to him wasn't a takeover...

So could this mean Sartori is going to take a controlling stake with FPP having a huge say in the way forward..
Because if it isn't GF on his own then a re distribution of shares stated by Storey doesn't leave much wiggle room and I can't see it being Methven he hasn't the funds either.

I think that's the nature of the game mate
Most info people get is second hand and even first hand info can often be interpreted in different ways
I for one am grateful for any info posted to be honest
If it's right great if it's wrong so be it
Don't know anyone on this board who posts info other than in good faith

Would hate the place to turn like RTG where decent posters are hounded just because
They post something that happens to be wrong
The more info posted right or wrong the wider the debate piecing it together the better the crack

Storey may be pretty accurate with his synopsis. There may be a piece or two missing from the jigsaw though.

Sorry I've upset you marra, wasn't intentional. And even though you're probably not wanting advice from a chav camel I've still got to say if it is all cloak and dagger and you've been warned, coming onto a different message board with the same name is probaly not the best way to be incognito. Not sure what you've actually been warned about either but hope my little faux pas hasn't put you in any danger.

My thoughts are that I'd ****ing love to know what Storeys game is!

We all know he isn't going to be the next owner, but what I'd like to know is whether he is :
A) someone who actually wants to buy the club, is trying to get a bid together and has had genuine discussions with the club (but isn't being taken seriously because he has no proof of funds or owt) or
B) just a complete fantasist who hasn't even been in touch with them, or certainly hasn't had a single bit of dialogue other than "piss off you mentalist"

If it's A then maybe what he's posted about redistribution of shares is what he's hearing from his discussions with the club. He knows he's not near, he knows that's the route they're going down and he's trying to stir fans up against it. I hope that's true because the redistribution would pretty much have to be Donald going and at least one of FPP joining the others, especially since he mentioned creditors getting involved

If it's B then he's probably just getting the redistribution stuff from reading message boards, which means there's not necessarily any basis in reality

Storey is certainly frustrating but I think some of his tweets have snippets of fact regarding what is happening.

Or he’s been put up to it by someone as a wind up or smokescreen?

The information coming out about GF not being involved also smacks to me of dampening down expectations. Those involved will have seen all the discussions and speculation also realising their ‘takeover’ will fall well short of what was expected. They therefore leak some information to avoid a massive **** storm when their ‘takeover’ isn’t very well received.

I don't think any amount of dampening down will avoid a **** storm if it just ends up with sartori and methven having more shares mind <laugh>

Same here mate, went out bought a bottle of jam shed shiraz but I think it's the best out there for the price. Cracking I thought and have just finished another bottle off. Haven't tried the malbec one cause I don't like malbec
