Not trying to be right. Just offering an opinion in a discussion... that’s what happens in a conversation. Just because I have a different view doesn’t make me right or wrong, but if I have a different view I’ll express it. I’m not being aggressive or judgemental. Apologies if that upsets you still though
Go back and look at the post all I said was he was close to a 3 year deal, the being at training come from the other board

I can't find the post but it was well after the cap had been voted on and it said Garbutt would be in training on a Wednesday and had agreed a deal. If this stuff about two deals collapsing because of the cap we want shooting with ****. We'd known for ages that it would be voted through and we should have got deals done before it happened. Especially if the players were keen.
It is Sunderland we’re talking about, we’ve been making mistake after mistake for at least the past 5 years, so in essence Magnus posted what he had heard. He wasn’t on a wind up. You’ve just called out the club on it

I honestly thought the pfa and clubs like ours would have challenged it by now, I just hope our fans don’t travel to away games if allowed to those clubs that voted for it

I was asking about this the other day, I thought the pfa had taking the efl to arbitration And I was hoping someone had heard a date as to when. Have the efl handed a little brown envelope over

So that means sometime in the coming week, don’t think Garbutt has signed for anyone so hopefully he’s still around when it gets overturned.
Interesting in the hull paper :

"The PFA has already served its Notice of Arbitration on the EFL and until such time that arbitration is determined one way or another the new regulations should have no effect.

Not fit for purpose the efl like

He was made a decent offer but knocked it back as he was hoping for a move to a championship club. You can’t really blame the lad. If nowt been forthcoming he may reconsider his position.

Makes you wonder why clubs are taking notice of it before the arbitration then

Probably because they need to comply with EFL laws to be allowed to register in the league/start the season.

I'd assume that if Sunderland just stuck two fingers up and ignored it, the EFL could kick us out.

It might end up being proved illegal with respect to the law of the land but it's been voted in as EFL law (for now)

To be fair, I think there's one ultimate source for the vast majority of the takeover discussion stuff. A source that is feeding misinformation. I think this lad has a different, and better, source. I didn't agree with his earlier posts due to their tone, but I'd listen to his posts from here on a lot more than most . I don't know who his source is, but I'm ****ing sure I know who it isn't

I’m going to disagree with some of that , but let’s just hope it works out for us all in the end

I owe you an apology. It was actually a different poster on RTG that said this. I'm sorry. My head is battered, checking different posts on different forums. Sorry if it's caused you any problems with other posters.
We should rename this thread “sitting down the pub with the lads and lasses thread” it reads like a massive sesh with ya pals
