The whole thing said it all tbh. Lots of marketing, the fans backed them and the team came up short due to a lack of quality. All spin no substance.
I don't think he can without FPP's approval. I'm sure it was one of the conditions of the loan/investment
True but then someone - either Donald or Storey, has to stump up an extra 10 million or whatever it was
If it is as you are suggesting then we should all, never more so, be worried for the future of the club. If there is to be no take over the signs at present, redundancies, player signings , club shop closed, ticket office closed staff still furloughed, show me at least, the owners are in serious trouble. I hope I'm wrong but I've seen all of these signs before in other companies i've dealt with.
Its an odd one mate. Everything points to a club that is in trouble financially going forward (as many are with Covid), so surely the owner should be selling if there's people interested, or else he'll potentially lose as much as us! There is interest but not at the price Donald wants. I've seen that on smb someones said I'm making it up, if I was going to pretend to be ITK I'd have done it well before now! It's an odd one, I want to post what I can because there's good people checking constantly and wanting to know what's going on, that's the only reason I've posted what I have, but I can see why some don't bother! Ultimately people can take it or leave it. I'm confident that the "it's happening next week" stuff is miles off, but I might be wrong, I'm not claiming to know everything, I'm just saying I'd very much trust what I've heard which is not to get too excited because there's a long game going on
Would you agree that it seems like all the rumors between 'something is happening' and 'nothing is happening' are converging something this -
-Possible deal structure agreed in principle, but people staying/leaving need to agree
-Price close enough to make talks worthwhile, but Donald and everyone staying/leaving/coming in need to agree
-Donald does want out but only at his price, which may or may not change as he loses more
-FFP are in pole, but Storey held as a backup (even if a fake one)
-Talks with FPP still active but may take a while because of the above
If the above is all true then I see this as good news as the rumor a few weeks ago FFP were not actively trying to buy, where as now it seems that they (still) are?
Does somebody want to tell the yeti that it starts on Saturday?
Far as I know, rumours of Fuhrman on his own aren't right, it's FPP who are interested. Rumours of things being with lawyers /solicitors aren't right, it's not that close. There is interest (including storey but he's not really in with a chance, he's likely never shown funds and won't be considered) but it will need Donald to lower what he expects because the people involved didn't think we were worth what he wanted before and still don't. I'm not saying any fans are lying, just that what they're hearing isn't right. I'm only posting that to let the decent posters know not to waste their weekends refreshing! I've got no interest in seeming ITK or anything (it wouldn't be worth it for all the follow ups and inquisitions!). That's as much as I'm prepared to say because the person who told me, who I trust, said not to give specifics, but that's about where things stand as far as I know. I might be wrong, I hope so, but I doubt it.
