Its probably been mentioned before, but according to the Telegraph, KLD is moving to the north east once it's all sorted. He isn't going to be an "absent owner". Class

@SkySports_Keith
Lee Johnson on soon-to-be-SAFC owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus:
“He’s one of the most well-rounded 24-year-old’s I’ve met in my life. Every contact I have with Kyril he impresses me more and more. He has a sound board behind him & I’m confident in his motives & ideas.” [HASHTAG]#SAFC[/HASHTAG]

“It reminds me of my time watching my dad playing and then managing with a front-row seat. Kyril has had that with his family and their ownership of Marseille & Club Brugges.” [HASHTAG]#SAFC[/HASHTAG]

Looking it's done then if the new man is floating around at games and the academy.

Announcement or not, I think the bloody dark night we have been in for so long might be behind us now.

As for KLD, the most encouraging thing I've heard from him is.... virtually nothing! Apart from the December remarks no ," we are going to this" or " the rest had better watch out for us" or any other of the bloated bravado we hear in football all the time.

Suits me champion. Enough big talk in the past, let's see if we can just be something approaching the club we can be.

I hope the new owner, speakman and Lj are absolutely ruthless in terms of moving forward. The current owners seemed to accept we were a L1 club and bought players accordingly. We need to think much bigger than that. Get rid of the dross and look to bring in better players. Its ridiculous how many crap players at the club. You keep O9, gooch, willis, wright, hume, neil, embleton, diamond, power, Stewart, the kosovan lad, and bring in 10 players who go straight in team. We should be looking at absolutely dominating this league. It's been unacceptable these last two seasons. Let's not kid ourselves on, weve barely been in play off places. Its pathetic

We used to have a bonfire in there every year and loads of families turned up great times every body new everybody.
Loved living there. Someone might correct me but I think it might have been the only council estate in Sunderland with streets lined with trees. Every street.

He’s also looking for a bodyguard, how are you fixed for the next few years John Wick?

"We want to create a team that is entertaining to watch…reconnecting the team with its fanbase, whose support will be so vital to our success."

The takeover of Sunderland by 22 year old French billionaire-heir Kyril Louis-Dreyfus is close to completion.

@sunechosafc
The takeover is edging nearer to completion with Kyril Louis-Dreyfus awaiting the final approval from the EFL. There are reports in the Telegraph this morning that he is planning on moving to the North East:

The Telegraph report: "He is already making all the major calls behind the scenes and intends to move to the North East, once the EFL have signed off on the deal, as he does not want to be seen as an absentee landlord."

Don't think we have to worry about that, he wouldn't have come here just to plod around league 1 or even the Championship. I really think that he means business. He'll be looking at the top half of the Premier League but I don't think he'll throw **** loads to get there but invest more as and when it's required and have the club self sufficient. I think we're at the start of a long road to get there but it'll be worth it when we do

I remember our house and the one straight across from us, the Johnsons I think were the two houses in the street with double gates because we had cars ours was an Austin 7 and it took 6 of us with a caravan on the back to the Lakes every year, took 6 days to get there stop one night and 6 days to get back. <laugh>

Would anyone keep Wyke? In his current form under the manager I would 100% keep him.

The johnsons were my great grandparents. Robbie their son ( my great uncle ) had a Vauxhall viva I think and he kept greyhounds. I think they lived in no.9 had a drive on an incline up to a garage at the back.
