I’m of the opinion it’s close mind. Too many positive signs coming from folk who hear a few things.

not so sure of the announcement today though !

All the old favourites will come on, Ashley in, red and white till I die, tin soldier, horselover. And they will all say someone told us there would be an announcement.

errr no it was suggested there might be an announcement... just like everything related to the takeover it’s all nice juicy interesting rumours. Definitely making my days off a little more interesting :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Agreed mate, I suppose we all want it to be true and tend to be more receptive to the positive info than the negative. I am sure the vast majority post in good faith, but we always get some who just make up BS because they think it's funny. I tend to think that if posters both positive and negative posts then they are probably just passing on the info they heard.

The year is 2024. The ITKs on SMB and 606 continue to drop subtle hints that a takeover is imminent after a text from their "sources".

This is despite proclaiming the same for the past four years yet people still cling to their every word.

much easier for the club to call one or two of the trusted players and staff and brief them and ask them to keep schtum until it’s announced, than to arrange a zoom call for 30-50 people and expect them all to keep quiet about it. I’d go as far as saying the latter definitely hasn’t happened - no way that happens without somebody leaking to the press.

Mind if they've only told two and one of them has blabbed straight away the exercise was quite futile
