The steward got me onto
Lambs navy rum with a bit tomatoe juice drank that for a while
Until I found proper rum
Generally stick to captain Morgan spiced rum
Went to Dominican Republic on holiday a few year ago and brought a bottle of this back. Very nice.
 
My spirit of choice when l first visited public houses was a navy rum.
But a question on your fave - do you mean 75% by volume. Cos 75 proof is normal strength spirit.
Anyway l hope we all charge our glass lunchtime the morn to celebrate good tidings.

Yes, it’s 75.5% by volume, I found out the hard way drinking it neat and suffered greatly the following day.
 
I come on here for a bit of a lift and Sunderland crack. Good night to visit. If we are indeed on the brink of an announcement then that is magic news. What a lift that would give us all in what is generally a depressing time.

Secondly, Jamaica is, of the places I have visited, my favourite. I love everything about the people, culture, and that Island. The rum there, and the way it is drunk, is a thing of beauty. I had this hot rum drink in some roadside market which was out of this world. Dont know what it was called but it was bloody lovely.

I have a half-baked dream that one day I may retire to Jamaica...
