Nah I think it's something Bob just made up.
People like Methven don't have friends who are supporters of Northern football teams. He may have cultivated and then used an acquaintance, but that is a different thing.
Methven is the kind who is good at making people think they’re now chums. Until they’re no longer useful. So I have no idea if Bob is actually friends with him but wouldn’t be surprised if he genuinely thinks he is.
I know this is the takeover thread but just saw this and this is superb. Proved me wrong and couldn’t be happier.

I love Grant, his legs cant do what they used to, but we still have people who cant see his value to the team, I wonder what people watch sometimes
I love the turnaround he's had, I had him written off with regret after a poor last season and with him approaching his mid thirties, but he's been excellent. Looks like him and McGeady are both pulling the same trick.
You wouldn't be surprised to see Grant get a job on the coaching staff when he retires. He seems the type and it's his club.
Grant worships this club and would be the first to say he isn't good enough and call it a day if it was the case

Ghandi Floss, on the other channel, was asked if RAWA had received a response from the club regarding a new date. His initial response was "no" because they won't want questions at this time. When questioned on this he seemed to suggest that now is not the right time to push things as it would give them an excuse if the deal fell through! Based on this I wouldn't expect much action on that score, unless other people on RAWA have different opinions.
