So are we expecting anything today? Was Prehab’s dancing emoji referring to anything?

Parkinson was sacked almost a week ago now. We were also told by a Roker Report exclusive that the takeover was expected to be completed in a matter of days/end of the week, and that was on Monday.

It just feels never ending. Surely we can expect some sort of announcement. Alan Nixon has been saying “still a couple of issues to sort out” for about a month now ffs.

When Parky was sacked, the board probably thought it was a forgone conclusion that Poyet would join early this week. It looks like they saw him as their outstanding candidate and he seemed up for it. He turned us down at the last minute, leading us to have to interview other applicants and that has delayed the recruitment of the new boss. Prehab and others have said not to worry, the takeover is done. They probably just want to announce all the new people together.

Nee way the Journo tweets and RR's are just referring to McGeady.... or to an underwhelming managerial appointment.....

Ha'way man, I can't take much more of this!!!

IF Roker Report’s tweet is because they know something I get the feeling maybe it’s something very positive, and not something “meh”.

You wouldn't have thought RR would be teasing if it was fooking Johnson like.

Roker Report won't know anything otherwise they'd post it. I reckon all the news outlets have been told to expect a conference or news to come out at a certain time.

It's 7 minutes to 3pm as I type this and PR folk like round numbers like 3pm. So I'm making my cuppa tea now.

Ive got a conference call beginning at 3pm so this would be absolutely typical.
