It appears I have picked the most exciting game to watch

And its one where I don't even care who wins....though there is the Lovren factor...however, I've even stopped spitting when I see him.

Yeah, it's not been a thriller.

I've found myself trying to think of a Saints player for as many of the 32 countries as possible. Managed to get 22 so far. That might the limit.

Croatia has far too many classy players to be as mediocre as they have in this one. And in their last few international tournaments, for that matter.

Quite likely. Should've been a golden generation, yet their best performance came in Euro 2016, where they bowed out in the Round of 16. Iceland must be feeling pretty good at the moment (Iceland doesn't appear to be capable of feeling anything but good).

Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Iceland, Korea, Costa Rica, Panama, Switzerland, Mexico.

For a long while Nigeria were also on that list (it's how my mind first drifted onto this), but eventually I got someone.

I'm sure there'll be a Swiss Saint out there I'm forgetting, as a minimum.
