You can only be brainwashed if you pay attention to a subject. In Brand's case I'd switch off a show I'd usually watch if he was on. Same goes for Ross Noble and others, I just can't abide them.

Yes mate, I do the same with others. But the message is there
I don't hate Mags.
I love the rivalry and banter.
I like Millwall
We're all working class gadgies that get pitted against each other by rich entitled cùnts and I fùcking hate them

Now, there is one of the most unfunny ****ers I've ever had the displeasure to listen to. Hes Absolutely awful that ****. What a bellend he is.

dont like the bloke, always thought he was a prick who somehow got a break, i dont know if he has done anything or if he has not but...it is way past the time for all these peedo's and sexual predators to be exposed once and for all, i do not care if they are tv stars, musicians, MP's or even royalty, get them out in the open and get them jailed.

saying that, i firmly believe that neither party shouild be mentioned until a guaranteed conviction is the outcome or if one has lied about it then they get named, have seen too many people losing everything despite being innocent.

Just as I've said, I find him repugnant.

He's crass, rude, and vulgar in situations when it's obviously unsuitable ...

... but that's how he gets his laughs.

His boasting about his porno addiction, his drug addiction and the stupidity with Andrew Sachs sums the man up imo.
That episode was really disgusting, when you have to reach that level of behaviour it just shows what a untalented awful person he is

Don't like his attitude as a person but for me it's wrong that he's named in public after being accused whereas his accusers retain their anonymity. To me that's wrong.

He hasn't been charged with anything as far as i'm aware (to be fair i only heard about this a couple of hours ago)

repugnant

  1. extremely distasteful; unacceptable.

Strong description. What's your problem with him?

I’ve never heard of the bloke, have to have a look now. Thanks Smug <doh><laugh>

I actually find that funny, seeing as it’s him<laugh> hope his career nose dives to nought and he goes bankrupt, hate the bastard <ok>

The investigation piece by the times is a very hard read. They have spent 4 years putting it together and I don't feel they would put their reputations on the line without serious evidence. They claim to have seen all the texts, emails and got records of medical and therapy sessions through FOI.

The bit about the 16 year old is terrible.

I agree mate. It just pisses me off when males are named in the media prior to conviction. This applies whether they're a "celebrity" or not.

If it's ok to name the accused then surel it's ok to name the accuser?

Don't know mate. Don't really have any feelings on that TBH. Can see the logic both ways

Remarkable how far trust in the media has fallen. The overwhelming reaction I've seen online has been to call bullshit. Even with someone like Brand where you'd think 'yes I could absolutely see all of that happening'

kevin Spacey - Aquitted
Craig McLachlan - Aquitted
Benjamin Mendy - Aquitted
Ched Evans - Conviction quashed after serving jails time

Those 4 off the top of my head, both careers tarnished, possibly over. These 4 went to court.

I'm sure that there have been many men in mainstream life who have lost their jobs/careers after being even accused of inapropriate behaviour because they get named.

Surely an accused person is deserving of the right to anonymity until convicted and found guilty? Isn't that the basic rule of law?

I agree, except for Russel Brand <laugh><laugh>

Agree to an extent that those accused of crimes shouldn't be named until proven guilty. However, in this case, its not necessarily all illegal, just a complete destruction of his personality which he seems to deserve.

If it's untrue, he'll sue them for millions. I suspect the investigation teams have enough evidence to cover themselves here.

Won't pay to read the times, but it seems they've done a good job
