In that time they'v bailed us out, brought back the King, got us up the table and spent 50 odd million.

Liverpool have agreed a deal, in principle, to sign Roma's Brazilian goalkeeper Doni, 31.

The Anfield club have been looking for an experienced understudy to Pepe Reina after missing out on 40 year old veteran Brad Friedel to rivals Tottenham.

The ten cap 31 year old Brazillian is more than happy to sit out his career on the bench as has been the way for much of his career, the only question remaining is will Doni pass up the med for merseyside.

Maybe we can get both. If we pay less than 10 for Charles, we'll hardly be out of the market for Mata at 20ish.

indeed. I feel 2 wingers/ attacking mids are required any way. If we get one and he gets a big injury we will be back where we are now again. Though Im sure Maxi will happily scorer 7 goals in 3 guys whilst he recovers.

To be honest im not happy with a lot of theese target's, and I hope it's just paper talk. Bojan for me has potential but is not good enough at the moment and £20mil for him is way too much and would be a waste of money imo. Henderson for £20mil is the biggest joke ive heard in a long time that would be worse than United paying £18mil for Carrick.

Bojan for me has potential but is not good enough at the moment and £20mil for him is way too much and would be a waste of money imo. From what I have now seen of Henderson I feel he actually fits the criteria Kenny mentioned in January very well. He said he felt the final ball needed improving, the ball from midfield to attack. I was watching videos of Henderson and he can put some great balls into the box. His movement out of midfield is very good and he really can pick out a forward runner, leading to a good number of assists. He also seems to have a good ability for knowing where he needs to run after making the pass, leading to some nifty one twos and opening a lot of space for the attackers. He also has a very good cross.

I have to agree with the Henderson point here. £20m is a ludicrous fee to pay on what is essentially a gamble on a 20 year old lad turning into a great player because he certainly is not a £20m player at the moment! I hope the fee is just paper talk, or else a good few million will be add-ons based on his success as a Liverpool player?

Why are we being linked heavily at the moment with a centre back (Jones) and a central midfielder (Henderson) when every man and his dog know that we should be looking for a left-back and wingers as must buy players this summer?
