as I mentioned 2 days ago, Aquilani's proposed move on loan to Fiorentina is off. He has refused a loan deal as he would prefer a permanent contract.

anyone think there's any truth in the current rumours of Dann for 8mil of brum and enrique for 5.5mil off of newcastle? for me if this were to happen our spending would certinaly be far more than i thought we'd do and very sensible in each case. A CF to cover carroll/suarez would then be what we'd concentrate on in the following windows.
Plenty of rumours round today, all seem quite good in my eyes so if one came off would be good Ngog to Bolton Meirelles to Chelsea Poulssen + 10 mill for Shawcross Joe Cole to Arsenal Degen to QPR If we could get all done with a bit of manouervering Do part ex of Meirelles for Sturridge with a bit of money going our way,add this to a fee for Cole and Ngog should be able to get about £10 mill So for no money we would be rid off Cole,Poulssen,Ngog,Degen,and Meirelles ( ok good player but we have too many midfielders and may mean we can keep Aquaman) and in their place we get a good backup striker and a much needed reinforcement at centrehalf Other positive should be major reduction in wage bill I would be well chuffed if this all went through and that should then conclude our dealings for the summer
