Can't say I'm too excited by that, just had a look at his stats and he's never stayed longer than 2 seasons at any club and the highest number of appearances he's made for a single club is 52. He's only played 7 times for Celtic despite joining them last January, but to be fair he was injured. I trust NA and NC will get the right player, but he just doesn't seem on a par with Gorkss and Jemal.
 
There is always the chance that Saints are waiting until after the deadline to announce anything. Well I can hope something will happen like that but not too bothered if we don't sign anyone.
 
I know it has been said countless times...I guess i just go on the facebook officialsaints for a laugh, but just end up getting frustrated that saints fans can be so mindless. Some idiot has put 'Is this a joke does Adkins realise that we need another cb and a striker to replace that lazy prick lambert'....

Meh, not the greatest signing in the world, but should have a presence at the back.

I have spoken to someone who works very closely with the club and Jemmal was the only CB we were really after. However the deal fell through as his current club wanted the deal structured in a way that his previous club were screwed. He didn't like it and pulled out., nothing to do with cortese or lack of funds.

Now we've got a loan until January where the situation will be assessed again. If we are in a position to challenge for promotion, money will be spent. If not it's likely that the season will be finished with another loan.
