Personally i hope we get him, be interesting to know what we are prepared to pay for him because i can't imagine it will be less than 4 million. I still think we need a CB more urgently however, but i have faith in NA and NC to surprise us with a late addition.

If we sign a new striker surely Barnard, Forte and Doble are on their way out as we have Lambert, Connolly and Guly already? Seems a bit strange after Barnard just signed a new contract, but to be honest I think he will struggle to get into the first team now.
 
just on a rumour mill on the BBC and someone wrote..... "Just seen Jason Puncheon being driven into Loftus Road, busy day at QPR today!"

If these two things happen then I'd be a happy happy Saints fan. oh and a centre back would top the day off.

They would probably not say anything on air but they'd report it along the bottom of the screen or on the the transfer clockwatch on skysports.com
