We must keep our wages discipline regardless of who we bring in otherwise we will have our existing stars all unsettled and wanting more or demanding transfers and we will loose control of our expenditure and we all know where that ends!

Even more difficult to get Jay Rod now Danny Ings is out injured till the new year
beckford is a quality striker and played under adkins before, i would be delighted if we signed him
I agree, he does have his moment and when he does is an awsome player. But he dosen't do it often enough and does tend to throw is toys out of his pram quite often.
his goalscoring record speaks for itself, and i'm sure he could easily score 20+ goals at this level. Since he has already played under adkins, i'm confident adkins would be able to sort out any alleged attitude problem and make him more of a team player
I would be willing to give him a chance, but there are other strikers I would prefer us to sign ahead of him. But if Adkins thinks he can make it work with Beckford, I would go along with that.
