Don't go off everthing he says. the only transfer he got right was Fox. he also said a few weeks back that we was days away from getting Maynard.. i'm still waiting for that one )
We must keep our wages discipline regardless of who we bring in otherwise we will have our existing stars all unsettled and wanting more or demanding transfers and we will loose control of our expenditure and we all know where that ends! Don't want to go there again do we!
I agree, he does have his moment and when he does is an awsome player. But he dosen't do it often enough and does tend to throw is toys out of his pram quite often.
his goalscoring record speaks for itself, and i'm sure he could easily score 20+ goals at this level. Since he has already played under adkins, i'm confident adkins would be able to sort out any alleged attitude problem and make him more of a team player
I would be willing to give him a chance, but there are other strikers I would prefer us to sign ahead of him. But if Adkins thinks he can make it work with Beckford, I would go along with that.
