He always came across as a sound, level headed bloke. Didn't know him personally but al the tributes over the road show that he was very well liked

I've just had a separate message telling me about Ted "Salad", as he was know to some of us in the long ago. I've not seen him for a canny while now, and it looks like it's no wonder. But a fine chap who loved Sunderland and his cricket. I didn't know he was on there as TVOR, but now I do, I can easily see him doing that job.

I’ll never forget him enjoying the massive legendary takeover thread over there as much as anyone and then turning on smugs when it didn’t happen. Most other sensible people would have just brushed it off and thought ah well it was not to be. But he stormed over here to have digs and then got promptly banned . Anyway way I’m spotting a bit of an obsessive pattern I think...

Pleased you spotted it mate, was going to mention it, but didn't bother. He's a fcuking screeching coward. Has not learned anything from his no show with me. It will end badly for him one day if he speaks to people like that in the flesh. He is also a liar and an absolute hypocrite.
He was relentless mate, and part of the reason I realised it was pointless trying to avoid a perma-ban.
If I'd stopped posting what I honestly believed, to avoid a ban, I'd have been compromising my principles. That's something I'll never do otherwise I wouldn't be me any more.
I posted, on there, that I'd been informed by an old time journalist that junior reporters opened accounts to post and attempt to control the narrative as an exercise. When you see some of the 'characters', like Kildare, who come and then vanish you can see where that's possible.

I’ve loved this takeover talk (both times) but enough is enough now, we will get a new majority owner and by god they will see our fan base for what it is, a mental, obsessed bunch of dafties who will fill a stadium on a whim on Boxing Day, conqueror London... twice and appreciate us again.
