I worked with the son, also called John on the railway down South Dock depot. He was a nice bloke. I still wonder if he is still kicking about as depot shut 25 years ago.
I have already replied on this subject, the way certain posters pander to other posters whilst slagging off others on another forum, smacks of “it’s our ball and you can’t play”.

I only support 3 teams and they are Sunderland, England and whoever is playing Newcastle
I'd say anyone who makes accusations without naming the target is a coward.
