    Second post, another pop ...

    ... you're a clever chap, explain what's ironic.

'Ironic' always seems to be the word people use when they have no answer.

You've come onto a thread you find bizarre and want to stay on topic ...

    ... you're doing well so far <laugh>

If anyone is expecting me to be back on their after the ban , that won't be happening.

I started a thread and directly called the mod out to get a permanent ban, not a year one. I won't post again on that stain of a board.

Do what you want, I'll still be here this time next year. Not sure that you will be though.

Hi Coeus, I think it’s a decent thread, RTG has gone downhill due to a minority of ****s and a couple of **** moderators, one in particular is a bellend of the highest order.

I thought it was ironic that you were saying a different forums entire content was having a pop at folk whilst being on a thread about having a pop at them.

    Did I use irony wrong?

Fair do's. Seems a bit harsh in my opinion.

You must try harder, a few posts in and your attempt at being a wum is ****e.

That might be ironic if I'd actually said that, I didn't ...

... I was talking specifically about the relentless wums who never seem to have anything to talk about except other posters.

What you're doing, as is usual over there, is twisting what people say to fit your dismal argument, something that's ruining RTG and there's plenty of decent RTG posters saying that.

Honestly, can't you see that a great forum is being ruined by this endless sniping.

I’m not criticising it or making any equivalence (I preferred the SMB before the Pure Football split), just seems an odd criticism that a post isn’t about football or SAFC on a thread that’s not about football or SAFC.

    My mistake then.

Ermm, the forum has had better days sure, but sniping has something that's always been present, it's half of what makes it great in my opinion, that you can have a discussion and present your opinion wether people agree with you or not. As long as you do so in a proper manner, you shouldn't have any issues.

Think the place is great personally.

I don't think that's what the lad was saying but I'll let him answer.

It was a criticism about the style of post, clearly posted to invoke negative reaction and handbags. I pointed that out as it was the posters first post.

In recent times the balance has shifted from witty, sometimes biting, banter to relentless personal attacks.

Once someone like Prehab is chased off there'll be a new target, no doubt about it.

It may seem funny to post half a dozen digs at Prehab but you miss all the other people calling him out, disrupting his threads or basically calling him a liar.

He was always one of the calmest lads on RTG but he's become frustrated, after months of attacks, and starting responding in kind.

You're quite right that he can ignore it all.

You can also ask why the people who don't believe him don't just ignore him.

Ask yourself this, would it be better if Prehab stopped posting his info or better for people to stop attacking him.

If he doesn't post is the board better or worse ...

... whatever you think you're about to find out.

True. If someone wants a reasoned discussion with critics of their favourite website, popping up and baiting one isn’t the best way to go about it.

There's a good poster, on here, who usually posts the starting 11 on here.

If I was a new poster that's the kind of thing I'd be interested in ...

... not coming on specifically looking for an argument.

Precisely mate, which is exactly what that poster is doing, we would be doing the forum a poor service if we weren't highlighting such things.

I think the idea is to start an argument, get booted then return to RTG for the validation he needs.

    Oddbod in a tweed jacket.

The very last thing I'd be doing on a Sunderland match day is going onto another forum looking for an argument ...

... it just shows where this lad's priorities lie which is quite sad from someone who probably claims to be a supporter.
