Very much doubt we'll bring another person into the role instead royal will advise Adams (the thing we really needed) from Mersey side over the phone. Won't be as good but should be alright.

We need someone out there on the ground who can read the situation properly, unless Royle is getting weekly tapes of games and training sessions it won't be much use. Why did we draft in Royle to start with, is Adam's as confident as we all thought?

i think hiring royle was incredibly sensible of adams. obviously it now makes him look a little silly as he's upped and left before he's even got started but i'm not sure anyone can hold it against him - it was out of his control. i'd like to see someone else brought in. steve coppell was mentioned somewhere, he's the kind of guy i think could help but i'm not expecting anyone to arrive
 
Have you seen how many teams that guy has managed? Blimey!

Still, he's currently managing a team world ranked above our shower of merde.
