Rooneys form?

Nope, just find it amusing that even when he's on the ropes he can still push your buttons. Your replies are always very long and very detailed. You're his bitch!

Very long? You must be on your phone. A fee sentences look like a 30 page essay on here.

I like to remind him of his stupidity. I dont have a love affair with him.

Your reading the thread, you can see for yourself. Do you need your hand holding all the time?

You were rash and let your frustrations with the window and lvg get in the way. Insteadnof being like most and being unsure who he was but excited by the prospect, you focused on the negatives like the fee, and his record as a striker (the whole 12 games).
Gotcha. So this bit went right over your very serious but, sadly, very empty head "I don't know this Tony Martial guy".

These others that you speak of, I'm sure they're happy for you to align them with your way of thinking so name them. Third time I've asked petal.

That makes you one of UiRs others Diego.

He'll be nodding knowingly and making an entry in his diary right now.

Disclaimer: for the record, I don't genuinely believe that Diego or any persons or entities associated with Diego are indeed or actual fact one of UiR's others and I have no evidence to prove that UiR has a journal or that he can nod in any fashion whatsoever, particularly knowingly.

Careful, Diego's older than you. In your own words he's a better fan that you.

Diego posted his opinion yesterday though. It wasn't hysterical nor based on knee jerk reactions.

Smith and crytex without checking. Smith as he's pretty sensible on his views, crytex as well, he made a thread about it.

Could you confirm. Thanks Stan.

Petal. Reminds me of chavs.

You're forgetting the age of wisdom and the tarot cards.

Plus neither Diego nor I have the head up arse affliction that you suffer from.

So @Christiansmith and @cytrax will confirm that I wrote Martial off based on the comments you re-posted? Over to you fellas, you're now part of UiR's posse!

Oiy, don't talk about me while I'm still in the room, it's not polite <grr>

Neglected to answer your question before because I was watching Spurs/Villa.

Yes, I do think Martial was the only answer to wide left when LvG moved him there. Memphis is really bad at the moment and Young was injured then (in LvGs system) needed "match rythme".
I would have preferred to start Wilson up top for a couple of games though with Rooney on the bench, two reasons for this, 1 Wilson needs some game time and Rooney could always come on for the last 30 if he wasn't performing, 2 Rooney needs a kick up the arse.

Are you sure? Seems obvious your heads tucked firmly up your own arse.

Strange coincidence, earlier tonight I solved a problem for my daughter and told her "with great age cmes great wisdom"

She laughed <grr>

Not really arsed either way Stan. But you are, hence why your on the defensive.

I've not actually checked, just recall cytrax made a thread to poke fun at those who did and Smith kept trying to tell the melters to calm down about the fee.

Either way, at the end of the day, you were just joking.....

Would have been simpler if you'd just posted "whatever"!

Indeed he does. I think today is the start kf Wayne's withdrawal. At least I hope bit I don't expect him to be dropped instantly. A gradual process where he's phased out would be best for all IMO (won't go down well).

Wilson should be getting game time but I believe he picked up a knock last week and is injured. Though I like the prospect of Wilson and Martial at some point.

Off topic a little but do recall how Wilson was supposed to go on loan? Perhaps we missed out on a striker nobody is aware of and we've kept it quiet? Hence why we pulled the loan move? Just a theory.

He got a slight injury against Boro, not supposed to be too bad.
I read a couple of story's about him going out on loan but no serious links and nothing from the club <ok>

The words of an apologist.

"Because Martial also brings a threat from his left position so its an easier choice to make." so it's an easy and cowardly choice

"Martials a 19 year old still with plenty to learn." - and he'll learn about his best position as a striker by playing on the left wing? Of course!

"The alternative is Young or an out of form Memphis." - so play Young who has consistently performed on the left wing for United since LVG became the manager.

"I guess he thinks he's protecting Martial as well. Imagine he was up top and we still weren't scoring?" - protecting him from what? Continuing his impressive goal scoring start? Move him to the wing on the off chance that if played up front he may not carry on scoring whilst sticking with a striker who is going through a major slump?

You know full well that Martial has been moved to the left wing to accommodate Rooney up top and because Herrera played himself into a starting place. It's a move that has had a massive impact on our effectiveness in front of goal and one that needs to be rectified ASAP. Sadly he will rectify it in another cowardly way.

He is a coward and he has us playing like cowards. With every match his supporters' expectations are lowered and his detracter's opinions confirmed.

Rooney is a symptom of this as well btw. He is playing badly but LVG's "death by a thousand cuts" football doesnt help him in the slightest.

Rooney against Palace. Not a single touch in the opposition box. As I've said all along, come up against a well organised tight defence and LVG's football is played in front of them, never behind.

Yeah, fair play to Cytrex.

Waited until Tony had played a few games for us them made a thread stating how good he is. On the money as per usual that one.

Ha, brilliant.

He had probably written a thread imploring van Gaal to sign Pedro too until he didn't sign.

Then came the glad we didn't buy Pedro thread.

Just been reading through, Rooney has been terrible this season and I don't think there's many who would argue that. It would seem sensible to try and get some confidence into Depay (that is part of the managers job) so that a natural left sided player is in the team and play Martial up top. Nobody should be in the team with such poor form but Rooney seems to be?

If Depay is given a chance and doesn't take it and Rooney works hard to get back in then ok fair enough but that's not what is happening.

Maybe Depay should play as a striker to help him learn how to be a left winger?
