Missed those goals last season. Know it's going back but anyone know why he didn't get a look in at The cup final seeing he was good enough for the earlier rounds.

He used to get criticism in the stands. Could never understand it. He's right up there with the very best that have pulled on a Black and Amber shirt. Some belting goals too.
There were quite a few on here or the old 606 site too can't remember which, very unjustified- he was the sort of player who was clever enough to win you games by himself, the sort of player Lumberstone ought to be but thankfully Diame actually is

Never a truer word has been said on this forum.

The stick he got was a ****ing disgrace, especially when the likes of Quinn get lauded as decent larkers.

Not fit to lace Korens boots.

I mean you only need to look at some of his goals - almost all contenders for goal of the season. He is certainly one of the most skilful players I have seen in black and amber.

As a certain singer sang " You don't know what you have lost ' till it's gone " He was called "lightweight " or a luxury player but he got me watching city again. Check him out now and again on the Melbourne vids. Still a class act.

He was obviously good for us, but remember we chose to release him and keep the likes of Quinn and Meyler. There was a good reason for that and most people agreed with it at the time.

He could be incredibly wasteful and frustrating for long periods but naturally, and rightly, we remember him for all the wondergoals. That's what football is about. He also did a good job as a makeshift striker later on in his time here, unlike most of the other midfielders Bruce has tried up there.

I never agreed with it and we got relegated the season after he was released.

Bruce makes mistakes.

If I'm right you have bemoaned Bruce's lack of attacking intent and have been frustrated by his attitude of defend at all costs?

Look at Korens goal to game ratio compared to Quinn's, I'll not bring Meyler into the mix because he isn't the same sort of midfielder.

Of course he could be frustrating and wasteful at times, that goes with the territory with creative players, especially ones plying their trade at our level.

One of my favourite City players. Those last minute winners against Leicester & Watford were great.

Terrific technique, passing range, great eye for goal & he always popped up with his fair share because we weren't blessed with any decent strikers at the time. Some he had to create for himslef.

Huddlestone & Diame have the ability to do similar and hopefully they come good. More hoping for the best for Huddlestone, but we'll wait and see.

I still dunno how McShane is considered a City hero and Koren isn't.
