    It's because he's over 30, clearly.

I thought we'd be getting more of these long range goals from Huddlestone but he hasn't followed in Roko's footsteps.

I once upset him, by calling an opposition player a **** within earshot of his lad.

    One of my biggest regrets.

Though in my defence, the bloke was a **** I can't actually remember who it was, but he elbowed Bruce jnr in the back of the head at the end of a game.

Bugger - I think you're right. I've been trying to remember who it was and I knew it was someone we'd also been linked with signing.

Robbie is a genuinely lovely bloke. He's a friend of a friend and for a few years I always got a signed birthday card from him (cheesy!). He was sad he had to pull his kids out of North Ferriby as they loved the area.

Ask any Aussies mate. Everyone here can't understand how he's a marquee for a club with Man City's funds.

Do you mean Melbourne City? Roko surely a class act in Aussie football despite his age and injuries, how would you describe it maybe League One level or less with a sprinkling of older stars?

Melbourne City is owned by Manchester City. They took over them before the end of the season before last.

Yeah probably the lower half of League One. I absolutely love RoKo and was stoked when he made the move over, but I'm just reporting on the impact he's had here and it's been minimal, with most commentators pretty scathing.

    I loved Koren.

You didn't have him in the team to put tackles in, you had him in there to find intelligent passes and smash the ball through the net and out of the stadium.

I've mentioned it loads, and I know I'm a repetitive **** and I don't care, but the goal he scored to beat Watford 3-2 in whatever season it was under Pearson, gave me so much joy that I'll never forget it. My house keys flew out of my coat pocket as I jumped around like a loon, and I didn't notice til I got back. Very impractical, but thankfully my landlord had spares, so I got in after a couple of hours, I was able to fend off hypothermia and live my life again.

Off I trudged the Monday after once I'd finished work to pick them up from the staff.

    Ace.

Someone else who was great for us, left at the same time as Koren and never gets much recognition - Matty Fryatt. Always thought letting him go was a big mistake.

We offered him a deal though - he turned it down in favour of regular football in the Championship. Going by how poor our strikers were last season, he might have got that here.

It was a pity he was injured for our promotion season under Bruce, because he would've scored loads in that team and we wouldn't have had to put up with Simpson, McClean & Proschwitz.

His contribution to the cup run will always be remembered. Cheers Matty.

I've always believed that had he been fit for that whole season, we would've won that league. The one thing that team lacked was a goalscorer, and Matty was a great one at the level. He would've definitely got more than the 16 he got the previous season.

And let's not forget Sagbo's contribution to the cup run.

    Cheers Saggy.
