On what planet is he on 33k? We all know ALL but Rodwell has a 50% relegation clause, the club has openly stated. So we signed a £4.5million player on 66k a week? I’ll be stunned if he’s on more than £12-15k, and again, he’s nothing like Rodwell as he’s desperate to play, his injury recurrence has been due to us trying to rush him back as we are desperate. His first injury was a potential career ender, not little fanny knocks like Rodwell. Try all you like to tarnish the lad, I don’t think he’s a great player, but I’m not buying into his character being anything like Rodwell's.
I'd love to but fear that that's an area that we're contractually obliged to provide him, that and medical care. So long as it pure isolation though.
Did he kill your dog or something? McNair (who, in the PL was on £20k a week and had a minimum 50% release clause - I'm not sure on what planet 50% of £20k is £35k, but I'd like to go there for a pay cut) WANTS to play and Rodwell doesn't - how can you even begin to compare the two? I don't blame players for injuries - not ever. I blame players like Rodwell for raping a living from our club. I had sympathy and empathy for him a few weeks ago, until Coleman told us that he didn't want to play. Now I just wish that Billy's mates would take care of the situation!!
Rodwell is nothing but an a***hole and we should sack him.Surely a good chief-executive would be able to get shot of him
I don’t like Rodwell at all, but the heirarchy at our club are the idiots who gave him this contract.
He was in the team to play West Ham U23s Sunderland U23: Steele, Robson, Hume, Gamble, Taylor, Rodwell, Connelly, Embleton, Shields (Diamond, 84), Hackett, Williams (Kimpioka, 90) Subs: Storey, Stryjek, Brotherton.
I thought that at first but then his interview says it’s not about the money and he’s fitter than ever. And Coleman says he’s told him he doesn’t want to play. Then he’s offered a move and turns it down. But it’s not about the money!!
Apparently Rodwell and Williams played the full 90 which is ****ing mind blowing quite frankly. It also says Steele made a series of good saves which doesn't help piece together the exploded sections of my brain. The new forward Shields put himself about and chased every lost cause, could be useful if he's like an upgraded Vaughan.
??? Your point being? Or is this another dig at Coleman (who was talking about the first team not reserves)
He won't play…thats what CC said, never said just for the first team, seems to have put the strip and boots on to me, perhaps Grabban was telling the truth as well . Listen to both sides and make a considered opinion. Why believe everything a failed Coventry and Fulham manager has to say ? Make a judgement on what he's done daft lad, Steve Cotterills run rings round this lad, Tell me he hasn't ?
He said all Rodwell needs to do is knock on his door and have a conversation with him and he might play him again, that may very well have happened for all we know.
