This. If Gerrard sensed it as dos others why did they not take matters into their own hands. Once you cross the White line, the players are responsible not there manager. The players didn't have to go gung ho and Gerrard as captain could have helped dictate the tempo of the game.

That's not how it works - the manager is the one who dictates this. Players merely follow instructions.

The players went gung Ho because that's how Rodgers plays.

Well if that's accurate, that just about sums Gerrards captaincy up then. We all knew that BR was complacent. If Gerrard sensed it, why the f#ck didn't he do something about it?

He's not going to bad mouth the one manager who would play him week in week out.

Are you honestly trying to say that Rodgers asked Stevie to abandon his DM role in both matches and play on the opponents 18 yard line?

What in all the 3 years of BRs tenure has made you think he likes his DM playing as a forward?

I really hope not. That would be the stupidest move since hiring Woy.

Even Rodgers is better than AVB. Why the **** when anyone hire that untallented prat?

He has bombed in every position he's had!

Not quite. He's had success once before. Some idiot club took this as a guarantee he would follow in the traditions of their best domestic manager.

Then Spurs hired him. The rest is hilarious. Well what happened before was pretty damn funny too.
