yup this really poor CL.

Real are ****. Bayern are old and **** and wtf is this conference side Roma.

This is the worse Semis of a CL ever!.

Except you didn't make it, got knocked out by an even ****ter side in seville over 2 legs (i.e. no fluke)

If these sides are "pathetic" god knows what you think of united at the moment.

Absolutely spot on <ok>

We are crap mate. I have said it for ages. With the players we have we are ridiculously underperforming and no one here will disagree with me.

Wouldn't say it's a really poor CL, but it is a very odd one this year. All the top sides running away with the major European leagues seem to have utterly failed to show up in the CL barring Bayern.

City are flying and near unbeatable in the PL yet they got battered, same with PSG in Ligue 1. Utd consistently second in the PL and canned by Sevilla. Barca got done 3-0 by Roma and Juve by Real. Atletico and Napoli are the only other sides who could feasibly win La Liga or Serie A and they didn't even get out of the groups. Porto also got battered by Liverpool.

Bayern are the only club remaining in the draw who will win their domestic league, and they've hardly been spectacular in Europe this season and now look to be going out. Roma and Liverpool aren't yet even guaranteed to quality for the CL next year!

Can anyone tell me the last time there was a CL final where neither of the finalists were even close to competing for their domestic title? Actually don't, I've got a horrible feeling it was probably 2005 ;)

Actually it was 2012, we finished 6th, and Bayern, though they finished second, were like 9 points behind Dortmund or some ****, if I recall correctly.

Like the deluded RS said a few years back, is a tournament, where a team is shredded worse than a park team in the semis, prestigious anymore? However much they protest, they’ve got to accept that Roma were the architects of their own downfall and gifted them their win. Even the likes of WBA and Southampton (nearly championship sides) gave them better games ;)

Ugh, theres nothing worse than bitter fans making up bullshit to try to belittle the achievements of their rivals.

You are sounding like Spurs fans here guys, reel it in.

Just repeating what they the RS themselves said when we beat Schalke. And to be fair the RS got at least 3 even 4 wrong [HASHTAG]#bentasfuck[/HASHTAG] refereeing decisions when playing City which would have definitely turned the tie round. <laugh> The degree of [HASHTAG]#bentasfuck[/HASHTAG] reffing could have affected the prestige too.

as much as I hate Liverpool and want you to lose, but you have been the outstanding performance in this CL ..
just for the way you are attacking with purpose and in numbers and entertaining us, you deserve this trophy ..I think though you were lucky with the draw as u didn't meet any solid team who setup defensively except Roma who were suicidal with those slow defenders, they had no chance tbh.
but the way you demolished City, and even now Roma, that was astonishing .. so no one else deserve it more than you guys...
but I still wish you to lose regardless hahaha .. comn Roma or Real
hope best team wins ...

Thanks for qualifying your rationalism <laugh>

You don't really think we're going to win it, do you?

I didn't think you would in 2005 either!

Tbh it could go either way against Real or Bayern in the final. You'll almost certainly have a strong spell like against City and Roma where you'll create chances, but probably also a wobbly spell where you concede them.

You don't match either of those sides for overall quality, but you have the pace to hurt them, and that could make the difference. I'd expect you to lose, but wouldn't be surprised if you pulled off a win.

So 50/50 then? <laugh>

is 50-50 with Liverpool in Final .. furthermore is cup match and cup is a cup at the end where there is a big room for surprises
all will depend on how the other team will approach the match .. if they attack or defend or even if Liverpool make hopefully the suicidal defensive mistakes
I seriously hope you bottle it at the Final

Liverpool aren't in the final yet, Shwan.

Not quite <laugh>

You can't get away from the fact that Real have the experience and proven quality, whilst Liverpool and Klopp's only recent experience is of bottling their finals, often from a strong position. 2003 the last time you won a major cup final without needing penalties?

But a final is a one off game and anything can happen. As Shwan points out, all depends on how you and Real, approach the game and how well you each can adapt your tactics. Roma showed how bad tactical failures can be at this level, if Real make similar mistakes in the final then it's anyone's game.

We have to get through tonight first. Will you all be watching in your Roma shirts? <whistle>

Not quite! Can't see you screwing it up tbh, even if Roma score three they will ship one or two.

In all honesty I am fairly indifferent about it - Klopp is quite likeable and lacks a lot of the unjustified arrogance of many of your previous managers so I don't really begrudge him some success. Tho' I can't say I will be wishing anything other than a massive Roma win of course ;)

Unjustified arrogance from whom in particular?
