I can't be the only person to notice that yesterday Los Ladrones told Marca they were no longer interested in signing De Gea - and today Marca broke the story that De Gea (among others) were implicated in a child prostitution ring?

I wonder if Manure will suspend him or will Maureen come up with some kind of spin?

The timing of this allows Man Utd a little leeway.
They'll get to see how credible the accusations are before they have to act.
I doubt that them or Bilbao will comment publicly until things become clearer.

Vardy to turn down Arsenal, but the interest has earned him £100k per week from Leicester.

Vardy timed as the fastest player in the PL last season at 22.02mph ahead of Martial (21.99). Kyle Walker in 5th.

Crazy considering he only just signed a new deal 3 months ago. That will make him their highest earner by a country mile and I wonder what the reprecussions will be regarding Kante and Mahrez. They could well end up with an 'elite' group of players earning more than twice as much as the rest of the squad - not a healthy atmosphere to be dealing with in the context of launching a title defense.

My "Leicester City Sprial Watch" thread, over on the general board, is going to become a fascinating place to be over the next 12 months, I'll warrant.

His current contract is 80k p/w.

I've been told that Mahrez, Kante and Schmeichel have been offered similar contracts. Generally people are on about 30-50k here. The players we have are level headed, we don't have any billy big bollocks players that get above their station.

They haven't had the chance.

Sounds like you have 4 of them?

I read earlier that Granit Xhaxa has had 5 red cards in 95 games in for Monchengladbach. That averages 2 per season. Should fit in nicely at Woolwich then.

He could use the money to decorate his home in a tasteful manner. After all, look at the state of it at the moment...

It looks like a rather ****e "gentleman's club".
How the **** are you supposed to play pool (snooker, possibly?) on that table with all the ludicrous shadows that light's flinging off?
