I had just posted in the Bill Nick:

Chelsea's defence of Eva Caneiro's claim folds in a manner similar to their capitulation as Champions and ends in the same result - Jose Mourinho's services no longer being required.

No chance Chelsea or United were going to let Mourinho give evidence. He'd end up locked up for contempt.United's manager would end up holed below the water line and it would reveal Chelsea as the scumbag organisation they are.

As the fragrant then Ms Caneiro refused £1.2m and Sex Discrimination damages are unlimited, I'm guessing £3m minimum to £5m max. That's my girl!

I would :)

Has she settled both actions? I hope Mourinho still has to explain his Daughter of a Whore comment!

Apparently Jose wasn't expected in court today but turned up about an hour before the settlement. I hope that's because Eva was inisisting on Mourinho apologising to her face-to-face and kissing her shoe before she signed the deal.

It has been reported that Eva was insisting on a personal apology from Moronho as part of her settlement. The fact that he didn't, and the Chavs had to bolt on some waffle on his behalf at the end of their statement, probably added an extra million to her bank account...

"Chelsea is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Dr Carneiro which brings her employment tribunal proceedings against the club and Jose Mourinho to an end.

"The club regrets the circumstances which led to Dr Carneiro leaving the club and apologises unreservedly to her and her family for the distress caused. We wish to place on record that in running onto the pitch Dr Carneiro was following both the rules of the game and fulfilling her responsibility to the players as a doctor, putting their safety first.

"Dr Carneiro has always put the interests of the club's players first. Dr Carneiro is a highly competent and professional sports doctor. She was a valued member of the club’s medical team and we wish her every success in her future career.

"Jose Mourinho also thanks Dr Carneiro for the excellent and dedicated support she provided as First Team Doctor and he wishes her a successful career."

Eddie Howe is currently leading the betting to replace Koeman at Southampton.
De Boer, Pellegrini and Villas-Boas are close behind and I'd write the latter two out of the equation right now, to be honest.
I think that the Dutchman would be a good move for them, though.

Koeman to Everton confirmed @ £5m compensation. That's massive news. Are the vultures coming yet again for the Saints?

Man, the money spent this summer is going to be ridiculous. There's already rumours of Scott Dann to Everton for £15m. Fifteen million quid for a 29 year old non-international who is decent but on the slow side? If that's a marker, then Toby's worth £40m+. Crazy.

All part of the Levy grand plan to use the turmoil at Soton to get Lukaku cheaply
(the Euro 2016 Spurs squad have already unsettled him) .

Yeah, utter b*llocks I know, but thought I'd get in before someone on Soton 606 comes
here all hostile claiming it as <FACT> .

It would certainly break all precedent levels of incredulity if Soton fans came over here furious at us for signing an Everton player <laugh>

If Lukaku stays in the PL, my money is on a move to City to replace the ineffective Wilfried Bony (who I think is incidentally worth a look at for us), but my feeling is that he'll give it another season at Goodison now that a respected manager is incoming. He's still very young and moved to Everton to secure first team football - where else can he guarantee that? His stock can only rise further until the likes of Madrid and Juve are interested.

As for players who actually play for Southampton, I wouldn't mind a flutter on Shane Long, Mane and Wanyama - if the latter two can cut the diving and cards out of their games that is.

Anyone know anything about this Bailly that Man United have just paid £30m for ? Is this a good signing ?

Really?? ****e. Hate to say this but the kid has a certain calm reading of the game that reminds me of a certain Ledley King. Not as comfortable on the ball or as dominant in the air but he just turned 22 so plenty of time to improve. Hopefully will turn out to be completely unable to handle the pace and physicality of the PL and flop badly.

The Poool didn't score against him when he played for Villarreal.
And he may have been keeping Musacchio (the once Spurs target ?? ) out of their first XI.
That is all I have. What does FM 2016 say about him ? :)
