Oh he's definitely a class act but didn't I read that the Spanish government "gives" Real and Barcelona financial help?

just read Real are preparing a 20million pound bid for Hugo

:( Inevitable. They're the only big club I can think of that will be looking for a new number 1 soon. Although they did buy Keylor Navas in the summer, PLEASE Keylor become number 1 and become un-droppable <laugh>

Buffon cost £32m in 2001. We have 13 years of inflation on that too. I'd expect Lloris to fetch at least £35m.

Lloris reminds me so much of Bill Brown.Same build too.Hope he stays but can't blame him if he wants to go to Real.It looks like it will be many moons before we win something.

Every once in a while you see something which gives you hope for humanity. I just saw my first useful use (in my experience) of video evidence in Chelsea's first goal. It was so satisfying to see a decision which officials on their own get wrong half the time decided correctly, definitively and quickly thanks to technology.

Neither Liverpool nor Chelsea came out for the start of the second half like they were sleepwalking. Must be nice.

Big test for Rodgers now. Really doesn't need to be going into the international break on a loss, especially as it would be three in a row.
No shame in losing to Chelsea, of course, but the press would be onto him.

Don't worry, I'm sure there's another club who will be accommodating enough to take the press' minds of the hard task of writing stories about Liverpool failing. Hopefully at the hands of QPR...

Well that's one favour done and now for Arsenal to take points off Swansea and then we need our arses kicking if we don't beat Stoke. 6th place beckons. I wasn't sure about the Pool result today as both teams have been failing a bit, I thought a draw.
