Sandro replaced by Joey Barton at half-time. Another injury for our former Brazilian? Really not having the best run of fitness. Should spice things up a bit. Not that it needs it.
Massive balls up by Caulker there, on the halfway line. Very lucky not to concede. Barton probably should've gone in the book a minute ago, too.
Why did we let ramsey leave...thought he was doing ok as a coach? feel for sandro but guess his injury problems is why we sold him
2-1 QPR, OG Demichelis. Vargas did well to win that and play it wide, but that's a really uncommitted attempt at a tackle in the middle.
2-2, FT. If we win tomorrow (big if), then we'll only be four points behind City. Considering how inconsistent we've been, that's pretty damning of their form.
Great news, everyone - Burnley won, so we can breathe easy ahead of that game! It's a major problem that comes from football becoming a business: there's no such thing as demotion, so if you're a youth coach promoted to the first team bench you can't resume your duties as a youth coach no matter how well you did in that former role. The worst example of this is when Tranmere promoted their physio to being manager a couple of seasons back - they couldn't demote him back to being physio, even though he was good at his job and a cult figure with the fans.
Ramsey was undoubtedly doing a great job with the Academy and had done for many years. When promoted to first team duties, he struggled to put his ideas across. That may well be down to the attitude of certain senior players more than to any weaknesses on Ramsey's part, but the bottom line is that his promotion didn't work out. Why he wasn't allowed to return to work with the kids, I cannot answer because I don't know.

I was surprised that QPR didn't get tonked. Can't believe how badly £ity are doing. Surely, Pelligrini won't survive this?
qpr deserved to win imo...they were the better team in the first half apart from the first 5 minutes and last 10 and they were the better team in the second half too. it's weird to watch a team blessed with so many gifted players like city playing like a one man team...:iverpool and us never had the quantity of quality players that city had.
Pell doesn't stay very long at most teams he coaches and City will be no different for him. I've said it before that it's morale and confidence which makes teams tick and not the cost or the ability of the players. City's morale is low so it's affecting play and it can happen to any team or player, RVP isn't exactly a shining beacon is he? I've also posted before that City is built on very shaky foundations which I don't think will stand the test of time. Hoops gained a point courtesy of an own goal yesterday.
