Doesn't mean he deserved to get stabbed.
It does, however, shatter the version the English media were presenting, glossing over the Leeds fans' responsibility for the whole situation in the first place.

Galatasaray's GK is horrible. He likes to run far off his line to not quite close down players to his left and right, leaving an open goal to diminish the odds on a very difficult shot. Chelsea's already got one from this strategy.
Two things Chelsea are doing that I like are closing down hard and leaving a couple of players 10 yards outside the box when they're defending, to intercept the back passes. More teams should do that.
Sorry, didn't mean to reply to myself...
Just what Utd didn't do last night sadly.
That's the difference when you're confident and motivated. More to do with state of mind than ability.
West Brom have held "constructive" talks over the club's poor form and say under-pressure manager Pepe Mel will work to help them avoid relegation.
Mel, 50, has not won in six games since taking charge, prompting speculation his job could be under threat.
...can anyone believe this

RVP complains about his teammates getting in his way.
Was he talking about the Olympiakos game, or was he talking about wanting to be the first player to leave the club this summer?
Nope. I know an ex-Man Utd season ticket holder and he had to give it up because he lives in London and they were forcing them to buy tickets for all of their home cup games.
He wasn't prepared to pay for a bunch of tickets that he'd never use, so he binned it.
You have to buy them for all FA Cup and Champions League ties, IIRC, so the letter must be to someone that's blocked payment. ****ty way to treat your fans, isn't it?
