I've got to say that Chelski were embarrassing, yesterday, against £ity. It's as though their entire team simply could not be arsed.

Mourhino is going to have to work hard with these players, because they did not play like a team that wanted to win for him, and I know he will hate that.

Yesterday was the turning point where Maureen realised it was a mistake to return. It's all downhill from now.

Just another thought about Sir Tom Finney.

I can remember my first season at Spurs as a kid.One match, towards the end of the season v Preston,I was hoping to watch Sir Tom but he was out injured. They played this young lad, name of Campbell. He ran rings around us and we got hammered at the Lane 2-6!
Mind you,our push and run team had got old together by then, most of them and several were gone by the start of the following season with Bill Nick "keeping his position warm for his replacement" who turned out to be Danny Blanchflower.
Danny made his debut at Manchester City in a 0-0 draw.Manager Arthur Rowe remarked "that was the first time for somewhile I sat back and enjoyed the match.

Bill,of course, became coach,Sir Tom played another 5/6 seasons but whatever happened to that lad Campbell...heaven knows.Never heard of him again!

Well, that answered that question.Thank you.Funny that.He was a left winger and I saw him on the other wing.No wonder the Spurs defence were confused!!!!

Giroud's been dropped, as he's had to admit to having an affair in the team hotel. He's been playing crap anyway, as he's played too many games.

'Pool are running rings around Arsenal - again!

If we lose to this Arsenal side when they come to the Lane, Sherwoodie should not only be sacked, he should be dragged through the streets of Tottenham naked and pelted with rancid fruits and vegetables.

The Gunners are utterly toothless against the better sides.

'Pool have been by far the better team, although Arsenal has made them look better than they actually are.

God! We are going to hammer Arsenal, when they come to the Lane.

Wouldn't surprise me to see at least one red card in the second half. Lots of bookings already.

Of the two sides, I'd prefer Gunners to go through, since the extra game will take more of a toll on their light-weight squad.

I say "game," (singular), but they might just be lucky and avoid £ity until the final, before they, ultimately, lose.

That can only be to our benefit, since our medium-term goal has got to be to reel them in, and snatch their spot in the top 4.

Fabianski stops Sturridge when he's clear through.
Really poor decision by the striker, but Ol' Flappy's having a very good game, strangely.

Webb's clearly more afraid of the bollocking he'd get from Whinger than he is of the one he's going to get from Rodgers.
