I'm surprised Dowd got the Wigan/United game after the way he stuffed up the reverse earlier in the season... wait, no I'm not.

I'm surprised Fergie thinks they didn't get a single decision tonight when they Wigan had a goal ruled out for nothing and Evans dodged a red... wait, no I'm not.

Justice for Wigan and United tonight <ok>

shouldnt we be glad its on sunday and we have got an extra day off to recover and possibly get more injured players back?

We should, but thats not my point, Liverpools decision to mark the anniversary of anything, should not affect any other club in any way...why should it?

I can't bear this 2 semi's at Wembley ****, where else do you play such a high profile game on a pitch that was played on yesterday! <doh>

Ludicrous decision. He punched a Wigan player for what looked like him losing his temper over something very insignificant and he truly expects to get away with it?

Well...I wouldn't be surprised if he gets let off the hook, but he does definitely deserve a ban.

Sometimes I wonder what goes through the minds of footballers when they do stuff like that. Completely unnecessary.

Anyway, does this mean he's eligible to play for Chelsea against Spurs over the weekend?

Nah, the hearing is today apparently so he'll obly be eligible if his ban is revoked. If the appeal is upheld then the FA can nicely round off a totally ****ed up week.

A clip from beeb the link....<laugh>

"Last September Comolli said he was not looking for new players as he believed Liverpool's squad was "complete".

Following Comolli's departure on Thursday, Dalglish said: "He has been really helpful in every transfer target that we've gone for."

Yea that's pretty worrying, he re-iterated the other day that our squad was fine and not much needed changing over the summer! Still not sure how much power DC had over our signings, seems kenny made the decisions and DC went to get them for us

PNP - :D

Red - I couldn't wait to see the back of DC, I just don't know how he gets these jobs...based on what??, being an average player that never managed at high level. His credentials for a DOF seem non existant to me. He certainly doesn't understand a teams needs, he may be able to spot a good player...I can do that!...but to get the 'right' good player requires a level of experience for me.

Why would kenny have targeted Jordon Henderson? i mean he may well have had knowledge of this player but strikes me as rather odd.

Also remember DC signed bent for us, even though im pretty sure he wasnt wanted by the manager so he has history of these expensive english players so im not convinced by what Dalglish said.

I reckon DC presented dalglish with certain players and said "if you want them, ill go sign them" but DC must have helped Dalglish deciding, cant see it all being down to Dalglish.

It amazes me how Liverpool are repeatedly pressing self destruct, why do all this sacking business 2 days before an FA Cup semi, what a morale boost for the squad to finally be told by its own club, its overpriced and not good enough! Another American owner without a clue. <doh>
