We are more defensive because of the opposition we've played and the fact we've had 4/6 games away from home (including Europe) to start the season - all of which were very tough matches. Don't be fooled into thinking this is what Arsenal are going to do every game. We adapt our style and tactics depending on the type of game it is.

No, I'm basing it off a larger sample size based on how we've played over a period of time and what we did last season with most of the same players - our team hasn't changed that much from a few months ago. Three CBs? This is the 3rd year Ben White has been playing RB. He played CB for us for 1 season. Rice clearly hasn't been playing as a defensive midfielder for a host of games if you'd watched us play enough.
If you honestly don't think the away fixtures, with the quality of opposition, and the 10 men in two games, hasn't been a contributing factor to the tactics we've employed, not sure what else to say to you.

We outplayed Wolves and Brighton too up until Rice got sent off. We even had chances to beat Brighton with 10 men.
If that's how you want to characterise our style of play, by all means, you can do that. But I'd wager all the attacking, possession, goal scored, chances created etc stats you want to dish out will look very different after the next 5 games.
I'd have taken a point before the game, and I'd have snapped your arm off for a result after Trossard's sending off. The circumstances were poor, but in the cold light of day, a draw at The Etihad is respectable.

Ref ****ed it up. Linesman can be forgiven because it's blindside, but the ref should've seen it.

1st one was a great hit by Calafiori, even if he didn’t mean it
2nd one, Ederson should just run out and if he runs into an Arsenal player then that’s their problem if he hurts them, also Walker like Romero the week before did a poor job of marking Gabriel.
The first was due to Oliver calling over Walker as their captain, telling him to get his players to calm down and then allowing a quick restart.
He didn't whistle, the ball was 10 yards from the foul and Walker was giving out the instruction that Oliver had given him, so he was miles out of position.
The second was just two players running into the keeper and pinning him, preventing either him claiming or saving it. They do it on all of their corners.
Overload the far post, have three players run into the six yard box, block off the defenders following the next group and get a free header.
It's really obvious and they were supposed to be clamping down on it, but the refs don't notice and VAR won't overrule them.
