I saw from the BBC match report that WHU also had a goal ruled out for offside.

It was marginal but the correct decision.

The handball was simply scandalous though. Moyes was rightly incensed. I also saw a fan ran on to the pitch and made a b-line for the officials before stewards stopped him.

Going to sound like an odd thought, particularly because Haaland has just scored.... but how many times does Haaland score the first goal? Probably quite a lot and I just don't remember them!

I take your point. But that doesn't mean that similar incidents haven't been given as pens in the past, nor if something like this happens in a game next weekend that it won't be given. For every pen given or not given, there's often a good reason to not give or give them. It's how these "margins" are distributed that seems to be the problem, and that certain teams seem to benefit more than others.
