Are the police cuts that bad?
Yes.
Yes.
Yes again.
Not only have police numbers been cut, but support staff are now non-existent with officers doing everything for themselves, on top of reduced officer numbers and increased offending.

That's odd, you would have thought The Part of Law and Order™ would have done something about that...Yes.

Managerless Brighton probably aren't that bothered about reinstating it.Could they not have reinstated Brighton v Palace as the strike is off?
And don't tell me there isn't enough time, games get arranged in shorter time than 5 days.
And add to that the cuts hit hardest with the enforced retirement of the most experienced (and often specialist department) officers.Yes.

It takes a decade or more from recruitment to start replicating that level of experience.![]()
Make no mistake, police numbers are an issue on a daily basis, with high priority areas significantly understaffed, mostly with officers with little experience.
Of course, you're right. The massive exodus of officers between 10-20 years service over the last few years has left things in a really poor state. When the last of those officers with 25 years plus, like Mrs B, leave the service, there's going to be real problems.

And that would account for just the Met. All Forces were decimated from 2011 onwards for 7 or 8 years!
In other news, Liverpool are looking sh*** again
My big mouth. You should speak to my wife.
Porto 3-0 down at home to Brugge. Did not expect that.
Marseille 1-0 down to Frankfurt. Didn't expect that, either.
