Whatever turd decided that the initial rule was fine should be sacked.

The guidance just confuses the issue further. The Laws have got progressively more stupid over the last few seasons. There are now many examples of ambiguities and ludicrous wording. They need a full review.

Son's offside, the defender plays the ball deliberately and is in control and he's challenged very quickly.
That's absolutely fine and exactly how this has been reffed. The Rodri one is the outlier here.
