Look at the stats for other PL teams over the years it happens. It' sno good looking at one team over two seasons and drawing stats conclusions from it. Come on RDBD where are you?27 of Man Utd’s have come in the last 2 years. Again I’ll repeat that is a high amount and disproportionate
It literally doesn't happen. Man Utd broke the record last season with 14. Nobody has ever got that many.Look at the stats for other PL teams over the years it happens. It' sno good looking at one team over two seasons and drawing stats conclusions from it. Come on RDBD where are you?
About 100% more now than during Ferguson's best period? Really? At the risk of repeating myself, there are factors in the way Utd play - especially at home - which increase the probality of penalties being awarded

Is this in all competitions?Has any other team has 27 penalties in such a short period though?

In the PL this season, penalty awards across the board are up around 40%. Leicester have 10, Utd have 6.

Yeah I'm definitely in the wrong line of work.

It comes down to benefit of doubt, some clubs get it far more often than others, that is the problem.Personally couldn't give a toss how many penalties other teams get.
All I know is that we rarely get them...2 penalties in the premier league at home since April 2017!
We have been denied nailed on penalties v Liverpool, Newcastle and Bournemouth which everyone agreed were nailed on.
I think it is fown to the **** level of refereeing personally.
The complete lack of consistency is a massive issue.
We received an apology for not being given a penalty at Bournemouth last season...like that makes up for the loss of 2 points.
The ruling out of Kanes goal at Sheffield United last seasonand the allowing of the Brighton goal this season show how crap refereeing standards are (whether it be the on the pitch ref or the VAR ref)
I do not have the same view of European football as I think those refs are consistent and apply the laws correctly far more than the prem refs to.
And imho virtually every club could point out similar examples...so I do not think that it is a favouritism issue.
Will it please you to know that I am quite well known
among my colleagues for often not getting "top dollar"
for the work I do for my clients ... ??

There's not a lot of call for a full-time Winks critic, to be fair! No, it just further convinces me I'm in the wrong line of work![]()
