Reactions: The Changing Man
I did say arguably if we get to the final. Was really talking about the run in. But......

I think City are streets ahead of Liverpool. If Mane and Salah were injured I think they are a mid table team. Sane and Sterling and Aguero are a much better forward line. They have better backup in Silva Silva and Mahrez. Their midfield is poor Henderson Milner and Wjinalden would get nowhere near the City team and City's defence looks poor cause of the style they play. We dominated Liverpool recently. In no game have we dominated City. Stood up to them but never dominated.
As for Barca. Neutralise Messi and there is not a great deal left. A fat Suarez. A poor replacement for Neymar and a team that has never properly replaced Iniesta and Xavi. They beat teams that are scared of them. We'd have a chance if we get past Ajax.
Maybe their power in attack masks their less than stella defence. Milner seems to have been rubbished by fans throughout his career. I see a player who is always involved and drives the teams he plays for, we could do with him, maybe not now but certainly in the past. I would much rather have Milner than an in and out Mahrez. I stick by my previous comment this City team is not as good as the recent Bayern, Barca or Juventus when they were on top of their game. And yes we have dominated I seem to remember Spurs 4 City 1 not so long ago.DeByune is a dangerous player because of his habit of running at players flat out and hitting them like a train, he is going to break somebody's leg sooner or later. Their attack is very good but the sum of their parts does not amount to the billing they are given IMO.

From BBC website...
"If Arsenal or Chelsea were to win the Europa League - AND Tottenham win the Champions League - AND neither side finish in the top four, then whoever finishes fourth in the Premier League would only get into the Europa League."

Now..... There are some interesting permutations in there.... <laugh>

( The original post talked about defenders)

I wasn't saying you shouldn't mention him but I chose not to because I was having a centre half moment in response to the ludicrous claim that Mustafi was somehow worse than anyone we'd had. We've had bloody loads of 'em in the last 30 years....and more dreadful full backs, wingers, forwards and managers than Arsenal fans can ever imagine.

However, I do like ranting about Vega....I've seen lots of dreadful players over 50 years but that bloke really upset me more than anyone else that I can recall....maybe Cundy, Ian Moores and Ruel Fox would be in there.....but no, it's Vega....it's always Vega.

My hatred for him reaches level that even I struggle to comprehend and remains at that level, despite the intervening years. I ****ing hate that bloke.
