Only No. 2. Wife No.1 was a great girl and I still see her occasionally. We were far too young to get married. No.2 is the slime of humanity.
“Wenger recruited some great players Kolo Toure, Some ****, Thierry Henry. But Mustafi? I spoke to Gary Neville who said Valencia couldn’t give him away. Then Arsenal came along and paid £30m for him." - Lee Dixon
Towards the end of last season I had a pitched debate with a bloke on your board called Cini something or other. He was arguing that you have a superb group of players who were being chronically poorly coached and that a new manager would simply unlock previously unwitnessed fonts of potential and lead you to a glorious new future. Our debate hinged around players like Mustafi and Monreal and my argument, for the sake of brevity, was just "no they are just ****e". I'd like to congratulate Mustafi for doing his best to prove me right this season. Emery is the right man to take you forward but you need a seriously hefty clear out this summer.
Crazy football. We shoot ourselves in the foot again, losing to another 4 minute egg to City and you think,oh well, made it easy for the others.Sunday comes and United hammered at Goodison,Palace squeezed one at Finsbury Park......what next?Chelsea to commit suicide? Probably unlikely but...….?
I think it's about time Ferguson buggered off to his allotment full time. Can't be easy for their managers with him looking over their shoulders every match!
To each Man Utd fan. "This is the land of lost content, I see it shining plain. The happy highways where I went, and cannot come again."
I know I've said this to you before, but I need to reiterate this. There are not enough words on this planet to describe how much I hate this ****. Seriously. Have you ever seen a worse defender in your entire life? Valencia truly pulled one over us with this transfer. £35m for ****'s sake. They deserve a good beat down in the semis for mugging us off like that
Very true mate, it's now official that the best we can do this season is 3rd, just not good enough considering the opposition
I think he was right on the poor coaching aspect of things, but the players still weren't very good. There is a ceiling of improvement that a mediocre group of players can reach until their limitations become obvious. Emery's gotten more from these players than Wenger did, but like I said, the problem is they are still crap players. There is only so much you can do. So Cini was completely wrong in saying we would see vast improvements in our team if we simply got a new manager. Our issues lie much deeper than that, which he obviously underestimated. And, for what it's worth, Cini isn't singing from that same hymn sheet any longer. He acknowledges that our squad is littered with absolute dross and Emery's worked wonders to even have us in this position. I do wonder what made him change his mind, though, as he seems to have done a complete U-turn on some of the previous opinions he held.
Seriously...? While you were winning doubles and going the season unbeaten we had the joy of watching Ramon Vega, Chris Perry and Anthony Gardner....so with all due respect
I had to google who those players were I was a kid when most of those lot were playing, so I don't really remember them. I refuse to believe any of them were as bad as the £35m stuntman. And you lot didn't have to pay £35m for those players either!
We know.....John Lacy, Paul Price, Gary O'Reilly, Ginger Pele, Kevin Scott, Ricardo Rocha and the star of the show.......Ramon Vega. Was the day that I would have sawn off one of my own legs to beat him to death with....
