Ivanovic forgets what game he is playing, reaches out and quite deliberately slaps the ball with his hand...then screams like a little girl when he gets a yellow card. I guess he believes slapping the ball with your hand is within the rules.

I have never seen anyone turn the ball over as often as Barkley has today for Everton. It's very comical. He gets the ball, he has teammates in acres of space, the defenders clump in front of him because they know he'll never pass, and he loses the ball to them. Crowns a perfect day by being offside on what would have been a great chance.

Always liked everton

It's funny, I've always hated Gareth Barry ever since an annoying Villa fan I know kept banging on about him in 2005-2007. But seeing him in an Everton shirt today I started to develop a soft spot for him. He had a great game too.

Evertons first win under Martinez long over due as they have been playing some fab football and it would be even sweeter if he manages to be a success there after the Liverpool fans tried to laugh at him becoming manager.

<laugh> Quality stuff. Hope they pick up a result or two soon, he's a colourful character to have around.

Meanwhile, Toffees have take the lead against Chelski.

Sorry to disagree so strongly but Di Canio is a horrible sieg heiling **** who should **** off back to his sewer as soon as possible

I take it you don't like him then colin? I wondered why he was at Sunderland stating that it was a huge mistake for him to go there and he shouldn't even be in the PL along with that part time shipbuilders team.

Newcastle winning at Villa is a result I don't know what to make of. I don't know what to make of Villa after their win at Arsenal and their bad luck at Chelsea and now this. They were my tip for the drop last season and if Bentenke leaves in January which he will then it's possible they'll be down this season. I'm going to look at next week's fixtures, back soon. Well done Everton but you played a Chelsea team on the wane I think but good luck to you.

Watching the spurs old boys in the Hull v Cardiff, I made these observations. Hudd gets a sight on goal and the keeper saves it. Anyone noticed that 90% of his shots are barely a foot off the ground if they're not daisy cutters, the easiest height to block and invariably they are, or saved at a nice height for keepers. He rarely tries to curl one in a top corner where I feel he'd have more success, trying to ping it through/past legs in a crowded box is always going to be difficult. Livermore looks like he's enjoying it though, but Caulker is still losing concentration at key moments.

Remember the Wimbledon crazy gang and the star crazy?
Well Vinnie Jones went into a bar in the USA and got into an argument straight away and received a beer glass in his face needing 14 stitches in two cuts.
Somehow this was recorded by someone..........
I hope this has put a smile on your face to start your Sunday!!!!!!.........and he still wants to live there!

I'm with you on this one, Colin. Don't have a problem with Sunderland, but I'm happy to see their form dip horribly while that ex-West Ham and Lazio fascist is their manager.
The sooner he's gone the better, in my opinion.

Ludicrous, match-changing decision in the Goons' favour:

Atkinson blew for a foul and only gave Sagna a yellow. <doh> Twat.

Sutton had the same 86th minute,Foulkes pulled back by a defender just as he was about to go round the Keeper, every one expecting a penalty ref bottled it and waved play on!,incredible,he got a few choice words as he walked off the pitch at full time!

Nothing compared to the referee at the Met Police v Margate game a few weeks back.
