Just seen this post from a certain well-known Gooner wum (who's name begins with P), posted recently on the Gooner board:-

"Haven't seen the pen that the spuds were awarded for their winner, but reports saying that it was dodgier than a Camden market Rolex. Looks like the spuds have been quite lucky to get six points out of their last two games, just scraping by Palace and Swansea. Although with the imminent departure of the cheat Bale, it looks like Spurs are finally getting the rub of the green when it comes to pen decisions."

There's a well-known Chelsea wum, over on the Chav board also having a pop about the same thing.

Yeah, that's right, guys, Spurs have won two games dirty, and we have max points from our opening two games. These are games that, in the past, we could easily have lost or drawn, but this season there is a steeliness in our squad and quality that screams "clean sheet" and "nick a 1-0 victory" at you from every quarter, the kind of dirty wins that the likes of Arsenal and Chavs have been getting away with for season after season, but which their fans declare is "character."

All we need, now, is for United to trounce The Happy Twat's smug brigade and for us to show Arsenal exactly why it is that they are going to struggle badly this season, and HIAG will be a very happy boy.

Which one was jammy? The first certainly wasn't and the text commentary for today didn't suggest it was jammy either. Then again utd fans can't see the wood through the bullshit anyway

No, yours weren't jammy - it was artistic licence :huh:

I was too busy flicking between the Test match and City getting stuffed by Cardiff.
 
Jammy no but unconvincing by penalties yes. We need that goal in open play to get us going. Today we should have had a penalty but didn't and not sure about the second one.
 
The fixtures are supposedly random yet seem to follow a pattern.

Utd and Spurs have already played Swansea. Spurs played Palace, Utd do next home game after Chelsea. Utd play Chelsea at home tonight, Spurs on 28th Sept. Random?

Don't worry, TMT.

We are a side in transition, trying to find a rhythm, and to gel. It will all come together as the season progresses. Take heart from the fact that such is the quality of this current squad (without Bale, let's remember) that it can win banana-skin games regardless of the fact that half the team has only played together for three competitive matches and has won all of them. And that's without a recognised playmaker.

Plus, I genuinely believe that Levy isn't finished yet in the transfer market, and that we'll bring in another two marquee players before the window closes.

Have faith, my friend. We are going to be awesome this season.
 
Swansea knew they would get a chance to play football against Spurs.Thats what we play you see!
They knew they'd find United playing the Fergie way....chop 'em to stop 'em!They (Swansea) didn't want too many injuries in their first game back!
