I came here to say exactly that. I was expecting loads of chances, goals and mistakes. Still time - especially for the latter with Utd
Still looks too easy to run through the United midfield, but they do look commited to play for their manager and that was missing last week.
My viewing of Emery Villa from Spurs games is they seem to be conservative in attack once they realise they cannot overwhelm an opposition defence. So a 1-0 win for them should IMHO be no big surprise.
Incoming Brighton winner.COME ON SPURS!!! Don't you want to win something. Were our previous games a joke?
Only just seen it now but looks like Dani Carvajal suffered a really bad knee injury last night. Won't repost the vid incase anyone's squeamish but as he goes to kick the ball it looks like his leg swings too far upwards and goes in a sort of "U" shape. Imagine it's a season ender, apparently his contract was due to expire this summer but Madrid have now immediately extended it. A classy gesture from a club usually known for being quite dickish.
DH is not wrong. Really nasty looking injury. David Busst-esque. According to Madrid it's "a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, a rupture of the external collateral ligament and a rupture of the popliteal tendon in his right leg." Ouch. That could be a career ender, unfortunately.
Sky analyse the Chelsea/Forest handbags and Jackson could be in the ****: https://www.skysports.com/football/...ll-decide-on-retrospective-jackson-punishment Cucurella is also banned for his next game, as he got a card for... something. Their next match? Liverpool. Genuinely have no idea what Cucurella's yellow was for. Got fouled, didn't get involved in the fracas at all... Weird.
David Luiz and Guendouzi both left the Premier League, so somebody has to wave the flag for Sideshow Bob/Leo Sayer impersonators. Apparently.
