Porto deserved that sucker punch at the end. They scored the 3rd goal and then sat back trying to defend/hit United on the counter attack. I thought they would try to keep the ball more and sustain possession after Bruno got sent off, but they just kept sitting deep and inviting pressure. They got what was coming to them eventually. Your team should never be that open when you have a numerical advantage.

On the plus side, it gives ten Hag a lifeline and may keep him around for a little while longer.

Totally agree, you could actually sense the equaliser coming the longer they were p****** around..

The shot that they had near the end before Utd equalised was criminal:

Player in the middle with an open goal and you try a difficult shot against a keeper who's making loads of saves recently?
Who'd be a ****ing manager? Nothing you can do about idiocy.

As for the Fernandes red, maybe sending him the message that his dangerous **** is fine wasn't very clever?
Really stupid challenge, especially on a yellow. Not sure he made any contact, but why do that anyway?

No idea why it's less than Suarez. First offence, perhaps? Ol' Bitey did it in Holland before he joined the Scouse.

Napoli are currently leading Como 3-1 with goals from McTominay and Lukaku, who also got the assists for the goals he didn't score! <laugh>

Yes, that is Fabregas looking angry and bewildered. He's Como's manager now.

Meslier’s just conceded an utter howler in the last second to allow Sunderland to equalise. Bounces through his arms in what should’ve been a return catch.

Apparently he had extensive treatment for a head injury earlier in the game. I wonder if he was concussed or something?
I don't think that he can still be excused for being young and inexperienced, though. 24 and he's played over 200 games.

A couple years back I really saw him as a potential contender to replace Lloris but it seems like he’s just not kicking on.

I said on the Prem board about how bad of a mare it was and Gessa replied “he has a mare every ****ing week” <laugh>.

The BBC have the 1st half measures (on/off target, blocked) as : 1/6/7.

If by "blocked" they mean an on-target attempt
that the opposition deflects into being off-target,
then the on-target measure would be 8.

    And another one: https://streamff.com/v/84511bd5
Merino tries to head the ball and is deemed to not be interfering. <doh> Absolutely ludicrous.
