A blocked shot could be on or off target. A SoT is a shot which would be a goal but for a save/block/deflection
Hence the misleading measures. Defining total on-target = blocked + saved + scored is more intuitive as "actionable data" .
Turned out that the goalscorer's knee was offside for the Ferencvaros goal, somewhat surprisingly. Looked fine to me without the VAR lines.

Completely agree, said the same ever since we were linked. He strikes me as the type of player most Prem clubs are able to produce every year or two. He just got the game time whereas others struggle. No different for instance to an Andros Townsend - and I’d take a prime Townsend any day tbh.
