Real Madrid have completed the signing of Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco.
That means that they've now got both the oldest and youngest team simultaneously, basically! <laugh>

Modric, Kroos, Benzema, Marcelo and the like on the older end.
Camavinga, Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior and now Tchouameni on the other.
Decent balance and sensible squad building for the future.
Of course, their fans will jeer him at the unveiling for the crime of not being who they demanded

Is Cornet Maxwell worth a punt at the right price

Strikes me as another of those 'tekkers' players out of the same basket as Traore and Saint Maximin. Highlight reel at the end of the season will be on par with prime Zidane, but when you actually watch them over 90mins you wonder what all the fuss is about. He turns 26 in September so doesn't have a particularly high ceiling to improve either.

It's a widnae from me.

Pope and Dwight McNeil are the only Burnley players of any interest to me.

Also Haaland: "The dream is to win the Premier League with Leeds."

Looking forward as a neutral to seeing him and Nunez in the Prem, two of the best young strikers in Europe at the moment. Should be a great battle to see who’s the second and third best striker in the division after Harry.

Are you not forgetting a certain Heung-Min Son ....

With sanctions applied to Usmanov, Russian sponsors no longer pumping in dodgy money, a new stadium to be funded and all manner of FFP issues to be 'sorted', the sharks sense blood in the water at Bramley Dock.

As Simon Jordan said a few weeks back, football clubs change hands when the existing regime and/or club is in financial trouble...

...so, we can expect Everton to be sold pretty soon. Hopefully, shortly after we relieve them of Richarlison for a knock down price.

Various groups being linked with a move for them, including one lead by Peter Kenyon.
Weird Chelsea connections for the club recently.

As I said, who would prefer Nice to Burnley <whistle> :
