He’s not too well grounded is he? He’s a dreamer; not won much yet - and with this attitude he won’t ever do
Would it be churlish to mention that the Golden Boy longlist has come out and we have Pape Matar Sarr listed, yet not a single member of The Best Young Squad In The WORLD™ is worthy of mention...?
"Sources at Man City & Leeds believe an offer for Kalvin Phillips from Man City is coming. Man City visualise a closing agreement of £45M - £50M and there is confidence in Manchester that Phillips would push to take up the opportunity to join them if it’s presented." - The Athletic. Now doesn't that sound familiar, bar the numbers? ****ers.
Message for Leeds : 1. the boy is worth 100m 2. the value rises to 160m if Gary gobsh*te Neville does a Sky Sports interview with him
Technically that gives the green light for clubs to come in with a similar offer, given they’re dictating terms

Mane closing in on Bayern deal for £42m. Even with just 12 months left on his contract, that seems a sweet deal for Bayern.
not a bad deal. I don't think it is that sweet. He's a great player but he's also 30 to go along with 1 year left. I wouldn't call it excellent
30’s nothing nowadays though, too much of a stigma around it. He’s easily got 3-4 years at the top level and they’re paying just half a Maguire for him.
30s not much nowadays true but klopp has worked him hard over the years and a lot of his game is down to athleticism and pace. I think it's a good calculated gamble and he'll still be good for a good couple of years but this is also a guy who wanted to move and they could have nabbed for free next year so 40m could be quite pricey. You only need to look at Auba and Sanchez who also rely on their pace and tenacity and workrate to see how hitting their 30s could also affect them. Not everyone can be the likes of ibra/messi/ronaldo
haha true, for the time being... hopefully the money pool have spunked on nunez doesn't turn out to be another gem. Luiz Diaz already looks very good
Auba’s killed it so far with Barca to be fair. Look at Vardy too, had a great goals per game ratio this season, even if he did miss almost half. I think advancements in tech and science is massively prolonging players careers. Fee is actually sounding less now too, Sky reporting it’s “only” £27m with £8m of add ons, that’s a bargain in my eyes for a player of his quality.
