If money had to be spent to ensure that the regions had their own big stadium, rather than Wembley or nothing, so be it.. "There are two other big quesitons: (1) Why the semi-finals have to be at Wembley at all?" Prior to the rebuild, they didn't. The exception in modern times was the 1991 NLD SF. The supporters for both clubs would be travelling together on trains, to go to a geo neutral venue. The policing concerns made Wembley the better option. The money the FA would make from a full house game no doubt helped a little bit too.
I think that the obvious solution is to play it at a ground that's roughly halfway between the teams. please log in to view this image Beautiful Wigan. (Possibly the first time that those words have been used together.)
Well, they get the gig for everything else when there’s nowhere suitable. And one club’s owners might have some influence? It would keep the Scousers away too.
They're putting on 100 free coaches, apparently. The remaining 84,000 fans will just have to walk I suppose.
Sadly, my offer to buy Chelsea has been rejected Was it because I offered to buy the club for a tenner, or was it because I said the club's policy would be accepting any bids from Tottenham for their players to see just how quickly I can create a local derby with Fulham in the Championship?
Lech Poznan fans celebrating their anniversary: I hope those stands are sturdy. Went on to win the game 3-0:
Most live down south anyway , just lay on extra prawn cocktail sarnies at Wembley and plenty of half and half scarfs for the plastics
Bayern's crest history on Wikipedia is a little inaccurate: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Bayern_Munich#Crest Can't think why they'd want to airbrush it:
Everton are doing as well off the pitch as they are on it, apparently: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60919913
I know we are no saints when it comes to pricing, but this is shocking if real. It’s a pre-season friendly! “We are Liverpool, this costs more”
